Got this in the mail yesterday, and I can't stop staring at it. The twist in the design makes it sparkle. It is thin, but that's part of the appeal for me. The price is reasonable, and the style is timeless. I can't say much about quality but hope it holds up well. I previously bought gold vermeil rings from a different designer and found that the colour wears off after a few weeks - probably due to hand washing and soap used.

The Catbird Twisted Stacker ring has become an everyday staple. It's lady-like dainty charm makes a nice statement on its own, and even more so with a fresh manicure. My only suggestion would be to make the band a little bit thicker. It is very fragile and can easily become lost or misplaced (which I did twice...fortunately I was able to find it before my husband or cat did).
In comparison with some of JC's 'novelty' jewelry I thought it was reasonably priced considering the market cost of gold right now...Hopefully J. Crew will introduce more authentic and "affordable" gold jewelry!
In the end, its the little things that make big statements & that count!

I've been a Catbird fan for a couple of years and thrilled that JCrew is offering their pieces now, I do hope they will add more pieces too maybe a tomboy (hint hint Jcrew!)
I already had one twisted stacker that I bought from Catbird earlier this year and love it so much I purchased another through JCrew. Just the same as expected and I love it. I'm actually planning to purchase a third as a gift.
The thin whisper of a ring with the twist makes it extra special.

I ordered this ring as a ring holder since my platinum diamond band slips up and down quite a bit when my hands are cold. It secures my band beautifully and its very thin and delicate shape doesn't compete with my other ring. I ordered a size 5 and it is just right once I get it over my knuckle (which is pretty big!). My normal ring size varies between a 5.5-6 depending on the ring style. I never take my rings off and spend a lot of time cooking and cleaning and doing chores around the house and this has held up great so far!
