Campbell blazer in Italian stretch wool

Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful with a catch I've owned multiple JCrew stretch wool and Super 120s suits over the years. I love the fit and drape. This item is no different. One catch: the navy color transfers under the arms, ruining whatever you wear underneath the jacket. I hope the replacement doesn't have this problem, but the associate I spoke to warned that "it might just be the nature of the dye." Huh? Why make a navy suit jacket that can't be worn with light colored tops?! July 16, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Solid suit jacket I ordered this jacket as a suit along with the pencil skirt and the cut out dress. First of all, the fabric is definitely a step up from the 120's wool, which I find to be cheap and wrinkle-prone lately (once upon a time, it was higher quality, but that's J. Crew nowadays). It does tend to collect a bit of lint, but generally has a nice stretch and drape and looks fairly luxe. I'm not convinced it's worth what I paid for it, but again, that's J. Crew nowadays. My one issue is that the jacket is marketed as shorter than the 1035 jacket, but I don't find it so. Arm length is good but body length is definitely longer than high hip. I was hoping for a jacket a little shorter but will keep it anyway. Together with the dress and skirt, it makes a nice conservative suit. March 26, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Classic and feminine. I have the 1035 single-button jacket in Italian stretch wool in navy, gray, and black. I very much like the styling, it is flattering and classic. My only issue is with the inconsistency with the navy dye lots in the Italian stretch wool. It's difficult to find a pant to match the jacket in this fabric. The dye lots seem to be off and I prefer my pant and jacket to match when wearing as a suit. With regard to sizing, this jacket runs a bit small I would say. In this jacket I needed a 6 but in the Super 120's I wear a 4. November 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by L-O-V-E this blazer I wanted to try a new suit brand after the brand I wore before went downhill on quality, so I tried this one from JCREW. LOVE it. I love the cut, the fabric, and most of all, the inside pocket. Women's suits RARELY have this! I bought the matching pants (size 2P) to go with this blazer. It looks very sharp and crisp. Drapes nicely. Quality, fluid fabric. The blazer has a very tailored fit and the arms are more on the narrow side, but my arms are on the average side and it fit okay. just don't expect to wear a long sleeve and move freely. You can move with a long sleeve under on but it does get a little tight- but not like an "omg you can't move" tight. I am 5'4'', 120 pounds, 34A and the size 2 regular fit beautifully. The sleeves were the perfect length. March 23, 2016
