Product Details

A runner-up for the 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award, Juan Carlos Obando debuted his first collection in 2008—beautiful yet uniquely easy gowns and separates. He brought his signature use of bold colors and fluid silhouettes and modern approach to eveningwear to his exclusive J.Crew collection. Case in point: this flouncy, flirty skirt covered in a mixed scale of polka dots (we love the luxe bohemian vibe).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this skirt! even works for short gals Love love love this skirt. One of the skirts I get the most compliments on. Size heavyweight fabric - feels very substantial. Even works on petite girls (you wouldn't think by the model), and I think it looks way better on than on the rack. September 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it I absolutely love this skirt. I purchased the polka dot and the blue. Of the two, the polka dot is the more beautiful. In terms of size, yes, it runs small. I wear a 6 in Jcrew and purchased the 8. I would not have been able to zip it up, had I gotten the 6. The 8 fits great, with a bit of room for you to tuck a shirt in. Do keep in mind that, unlike the blue, the material for the polka dot is polyester. October 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5┬áby fun and elegant I loved this skirt immediatly. Then, it was a matter of waiting patiently for it to come down in price. I wear a 4 but sized to 6 in case and it sits well on the hips. The skirt is much nicer than I expected. The crepe is an old-fashioned soft crepe and the colour is lovely. Polka dots can go from cheerful to clownishÔÇöso I see this skirt styled simply, with a black tee and little black boots, a few simple bracelets, or with a silk peasant blouse and velvet jacket. Come spring I'll wear some red flats with a red and ecru silk polka-dot scarf tied as a headband. For bold nights a silk b&w polka-dot shirt and gobs of sparkly jewelry! At 5'3" I was worried the skirt might be too long, but it hits right at mid ankle for me. Tall gals out there may find it too short. I love this skirt and hope to get plenty of wears out of it...it most certainly will figure prominently in the trip to Cuba I am taking this winter! (as will the flamenco steps I learned in a play so many years ago...) October 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Dreamy Piece! This is one of the most beautiful skirt I ever had. I got tons of compliments! While waiting to get in to a NYC event, I was talking to friends by the sidewalk and people, excusing themselves, stopped to tell me how they love the look and how beautiful the skirt was :-) The quality is just amazing and the color blue is vibrant! On me the skirt run kind of big. I bought size 6 and I had to exchange it for a 4. I'm 5'8" 135lbs. November 20, 2014
