Saint James® for J.Crew slouchy T-shirt

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 76 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful- but shrinks The classic quality expected from anything Saint James but sadly this shirt shrinks like crazy in the wash. I expected a little shrinkage so I sized up a full size but even after following the care instructions this item is now too small. Disappointing. May 10, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Meh Love a breton, but this one's probably going back. A little pricey for just ok. Summer weight (heavier than JC tissue or vintage weight, closer to painter or perfect tee). Boxy torso that hits at waist and a very long (past wrist) fitted sleeve with a drop seam that hits at mid-bicep on my 5'8 frame. Because of the contrast in stripe direction the drop shoulder is more pronounced than usual, so a shorter drop would have been preferred. Cute...ish. But not adorbs. July 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by SRIPE PERFECTION love classic stripe tops and this saint james knit is fabulous. lighter weight than the unisex and better fit. fabric has enough body so the fit is classic not skimpy. June 24, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Classic! Like the other review says this is a thinner material but I actually like it that way. Very comfortable. June 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by A Word of Warning, It Shrinks! I love stripes and bought two of these even though they were absurdly expensive - in Britain we pay the same price as the USA -why? The cotton is a good weight and the style is just what I wanted; big, slouchy and stripey. Yes, the wash label says to wash at 30 degrees but I like to wash cotton at at least 40-60 and that's usually fine. This shrinks! The so-long sleeves bemoaned by others are now nearly normal and the length has retreated from my hips upwards with every wash. Not good value for money at all. My advice is to actually buy 2 sizes larger if you wash hotter than 30 degrees! Please, if we are willing to pay big bucks for a garment, can you at least guarantee that it won't shirink!
