This is a nice tee and it looks good alone or under a jacket, but I'm not so crazy about this new linen fabric that J Crew is using for the Tees...not only does it not wash well but it's just not..well..what a tee shirt should be. Not as comfortable and too drapey.

I really love the look of this tee because you can dress it up or down and it's not your boring old typical top. Unfortunately it supports my usual complaint with J Crew tees and that is that it's very thin - you definitely can see a bra through it. I hope it doesn't get a hole in it like others have. But even with those negatives i like it

I'm in love with this shirt for it's classic good looks. I purchased the white and dusty quartz. I've worn the white with my distressed skinny jeans and got so many compliments. The linen is very soft and comfortable, a bit sheer but no need for a cami. These are perfect pieces for my summer wardrobe, I can't wait to wear the other color!

My new Metallic Trim Pink T-shirt is perfect with jeans all by itself or layering with a summer jacket. Linen is such a great fabric for our California weather and does not cling to the body. The metallic trim keeps this top casual and different from other T-shirts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jec79 great dressy tee with a few caveats
I love this tee - it dresses up well with a suit and pairs nicely with jeans or shorts. I also love that it doesn't hug my dreaded midsection - or highlight the muffin top - it really has a nice drape. I don't love how thin the material is - I'm fearful that one little snag will put a hole in it. It's also pretty see thru. The pink color is almost unwearable, but the heather grey seems a bit more opaque. I haven't tried the white, but I'm sure it's very sheer. I personally don't want to wear an extra layer under a teeshirt in 95 degree humid weather. I would probably buy more colors if it weren't for the sheerness issue. Also, it stretches out a bit oddly in weird spots, so that's something to watch for. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase, but I will just need to be super careful with it.
