Icon trench coat

Icon trench coat is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 114.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect spring transition piece I am 5'1, 100 lbs, 34B. Ordered both 2P and 4P. 2P fits perfect, allowing a little bit room for layering underneath. Although it feels a bit tight around the chest when fully buttoned, it won't be a big issue for me, since I will mostly wear it belted. It falls about 2 inches above the knees. 4P has the same shoulder and the same length as 2P, although it is obviously larger around the chest, a little longer in the sleeve length. I was really worried the finishing, since it is in such a light color, so it can't hide any imperfections. But it turns out that the finishing is pretty nice. The stitchings are almost impeccable. Even the stitchings around the buttonholes look very acceptable. The quality of the material is very good, thick enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for a fitted fit trench I'm usually a 0 in Jcrew for coats and tops and got a 0 in this trench. I definitely concur with a previous review that it's made for a smaller chested woman in this cut and would be true to size or fitted. I will keep it in this size because I don't intend to wear heavy sweaters underneath but if I was, I'd probably size up to a 2. The sleeves are cut high and slim which I like. Material is a quality cotton and the lining is a nice light gold. Doesn't get too wrinkly either. Overall, pretty pleased with the fit and has been my go to jacket for 50s weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Closet Staple Finally purchased the Icon Trench after years of pining after it. It's a stunning trench that's well worth the price. I would say it definitely runs a bit small for current J. Crew sizing standards. I'm 5'4", 110 lbs, slim all over and the 0 is definitely as small as I could go, whereas in other J. Crew purchases I'm in the double and triple 0's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality raincoat Love the cut, fabric and color. It's slightly fitted in the chest area, but that's what I wanted since I don't wear any heavy sweaters or blazers under my raincoat. I'm 6'5" ,120 lb ,34 DD and got size 4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reasonably Priced Classic Trench I've been wanting that "classic" fitted British trench (if you catch my drift...) but without dropping $1k+. This was the perfect compromise that in the end doesn't feel like a compromise at all. I was worried after reading the other reviews that a size 2 wouldn't fit. I measured and normally am a 0-2 so I went with a 2 based on the fit guide. I'm 5'7", 115 lbs, 30a and admittedly the shoulders are fitted but not too tight. I put a thick sweater on and it fit fine, but again it was just snug. But I think the "fitted look" that I was wanting is achieved due to the shoulders being the way they are. I'm pretty petite in the torso and shoulders anyway, but anyone with a bigger bust or shoulders might need to size up. The details are beautiful; leather buckles, nice thick material that will hold up nicely even in winter with the right layering, and the length is perfect. I love love love this coat and I'm so glad I found it.
