Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Summer Suit Pant Where I am, it's H-O-T in the Summer, so I must have a few cotton-based suits. I've loved J Crew's past cotton suits but was concerned that this new leg style might not be cut the way I want my work pants. I bought the white, which worked straight out of the box--no hemming needed. The leg is a nice straight leg without being too wide or too narrow and is very professional looking. I got tons of compliments about the fit, style and color, when I wore as a suit and as a separate. It probably runs a tad big in the waist, but since it's cotton, it will eventually shrink from laundering. Do beware that the different colors are sized differently. I bought the black at the same time, and it's a full size too big in the waist and at least 2 inches longer in the leg (I deducted 1 star for inconsistency#. For reference, I bought the size 4 in both. #I'm 5-5 and around 120lbs). May 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hmm these pants can go either way On the search for work pants for summer, I bought these in Navy in size 6 (I'm 5'7, 140 pounds). I had to have them hemmed, but otherwise they are perfect. Fit well, feel good, and keep their shape - I was able to get multiple wears out of these before sending them to the cleaners. I was so happy with these that I rushed to buy them in Dusty Dune. This is where it got weird - I didn't have to hem them, and buy the end of day one wearing them they had stretched out so much that they looked really sloppy and wrinkled. Not sure why - they're the same material as the Navy ones. June 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Favorite Pants These are, at the very least, the most flattering well fitted pair of pants (bottoms in general) that I've ever bought from J.Crew. Typically, my pearish shape body is completely incompatible with the tailoring of J.crew pants (Toothpick pants? not going to happen. EVER. If I found a pair to fit my legs, the waist would be able to fit another person.), but these are SO unbelievably comfortable and fit SO well, that I think they are my favorite pair in my entire wardrobe. Ladies with fuller hips and thighs, rejoice, it turns out, you *can* by J.Crew pants. 32' inseam is true for the Black size 6's at least. Please don't ever change the fit! 5'5" 135 lbs Btw for reference, I have a pair of FA13 cotton 1035 pants in navy size 6 which are a bit tighter than these. July 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Summer Whites True to size and fit based on previous pants purchased at JCrew. I bought the suit to wear to summer events and it looks crisp and chic. Very versatile - I will be able to wear the pants and blazer separately and together. The cotton is actually very comfortable. I see myself wearing these pieces for years to come, which is one of the reasons I like JCrew's suiting. The only improvement would be if the pants were lined. April 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Pants These pants are so great- I am actually wearing them at work right now. Perfect pants for work. I'm definitely getting more of these and I wish they came in many many more colors. May 12, 2014
