Has JCrew changed manufacturing facilities??? Where is that quality I have always relied on?
Minnie pants have always been my "go to" choice, so I was really disappointed with the quality of this fall's Minnie pants...I ordered both the wool and twill versions and both had problems. The wool full length had such a small leg opening that I couldn't get my foot through-- and I have really narrow feet!
Now for the twill ones--they had such large calf/lower leg that they looked comical--kind of like they were made for someone with Popeye calves. I actually ended up having to take them to be altered...so much for that 25% savings!
The last straw was the crepe tunic I just returned--Last year's version was absolutely awesome...this season's was a cheaply made attempt... poor quality stitching, bad fit...what is happening JCrew? Jenna and Company, are you asleep at the wheel???

Rated 3 out of 5 by BKlady Love these pants... BUT
I have purchased several minnie pants over the last few years. They are a staple of my work wardrobe. I recently purchased a black cotton twill pair. They still fit the same as my old Minnies when I put them on. After the first day I wore them I felt like they streached out and did not go back to their origional size. I compared the fabric of these Minnie's from the fabric from a pair I bought 2-3 years ago. It is definately different. I still like the pants and will continue to wear them... just not as much since the elasticicity is not quite the same.

Rated 2 out of 5 by TallClassicMom Kinda great pant
I've heard about the Minnie pant for ages and how amazing they were so I finally decided to give them a shot. I ordered by standard Jcrew size, 4T, and when they first came and I tried them on I was a little bummed bc they weren't as long as the model picture indicated. They fall above my ankles not at the ankle like the picture indicates. But I figured I'd still give them a go b/c I did like the fit for summer. However, after wearing them for a half day of work they have stretched out and I'm left with a too big waist and bum. I'm not sure what the hype is all about I'm not impressed. I'm going to try the Pixie pant and see how those go. For reference I'm 5'9" 140.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CrewGirl Love the pants, but they run big and stretch out
I bought two pairs of these pants - one in regular and one in tall for different looks. They were my goto pants before I lost weight, and I repurchased in a smaller size. They do seem to run a little big, so if you're in between, I'd size down. I bought a size 2, and after wearing twice, they've stretched out and are too big. I tried the size 2 in the store, and they fit perfectly as mine once did. They may reshape once washed. For reference, I also wear a 2 in the Andie chino, which also stretches out a bit after wear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by cheto Wish the rise were higher
As with most J. Crew pants for countless years, I wish they'd move the rise to classic and not "just above the hip", where muffin top is prone to happen (and I'm slender--it's just my preference for comfort to keep it in!)
