I have the original Pixie from 2008 and they are still going strong, however they have stretched out a bit on the waist and tend to slip down since they lack a waistband. I have tried other Pixies over the years, but none of them looked as good on as the original pair. I liked the zipper detail on these so I decided to give them a try in the store and lo and behold, they looked just as good on as my old Pixies except there's an actual waistband that holds them securely up. Overall, they fit fine- not too tight- over the waist and hips. The legs are very slim, but not so tight that they don't look like pants. The rise feels higher on these ones compared to the old ones, coming to about an inch below my natural waist (quite a feat- I have a very long torso). Lengthwise these hit me at the ankle (though I can fold the hem under to make them shorter). I took my standard J Crew pant size 2 (5'7" 115lbs).

These pants are very flattering on and very comfortable. They are a little long on me I'm 5'3 and a hundred and 140 lbs. I purchased size 12 because I have bigger thighs and a booty. Overall the pant has a slimming effect. Love them

The description nails it! Leggings comfort with the benefit of pants styling, including the snap and zip front closure and zip pocket detailing. The higher rise is flattering and they really do suck you in, so overall making me a lot less self-conscious than I am in leggings. I'm 5'7" and 125lbs and got size 4. They're about 3/4" too long for my taste, but pool nicely if you like that look.

I tried these on in-store on a whim and I am so glad I did! Never has my backside looked so great! I'm 5'7" or 5'8", 120 lbs on a skinny day, and took a Size 6, which is my go-to J.Crew pant size. They are the thick Pixie knit, but the zipper and snap in front elevate them to more of a pant. Flats, tall boots, or ankle boots are great footwear options. The side-zips are more for decoration than functional pockets, but I think they add a fun touch. I am now waiting for the Navy on back order.

For the past few years, I have worn JCrew Pixie pants at least 4 times a week in every season but summer. I love them, but these are better because they're slightly more pant-like and a little less legging-ish. I like the front zip, and I can even wear them with something that doesn't cover my butt -- which I never felt I could do with the pixies. That might have to do with my religious gym-going, but I think it's partly due to the pants.
