Product Details

This sleek trouser is designed with a tailored, straight leg that's both polished and flattering. It's made from our four-season Super 120s wool—120 is the measure of the fiber: the higher the number, the finer the fiber, and 120 is one of the finest—so it has a silky-smooth finish and a refined drape.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Unlined pants don't work I want to start this review by saying that nearly all of my suits are J. Crew suits. I have not bought any of their suits in a while because I had a super 120s suit that after a few dry cleanings shrank so that the skirt and sleeves were smaller than the lining. This might explain their decision to not line these pants, but the missing lining really affects the fit. The pants bunched horribly around the crotch. At first I thought I would just go up a size, but no, the problem persisted in a larger size. I really wanted a pinstriped suit, but it will not be this one. Can you all please bring back the lined gabardine and crepe suits? October 27, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by suit pant--UNLINED?! These are the flagship super 120s, are one of few options having a paired suit jacket, and they're plenty pricey--having them unlined is a serious quality issue. (The paired jacket is lined, as one would expect) The only reason I will keep these is if I can't find another suit to fit reasonably well. July 31, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Thin, clingy fabric & no lining. Ugh. I used to love J.Crew suiting and have several pairs of trousers that have lasted me at least 5 years and still look great. I need a full suit and went back. They no longer carry lined slacks. I asked their help about it; they said that removing the lining removes bulk, which makes zero sense to me (why is the jacket lined then?). This fabric is very thin, drapey, and clingy – lining helps fabric glide over you; this fabric clings to any shape or curve that isn't designed into the fit. I guess you can wear Spanx under them, joy. I had to keep them because of timing and couldn't find any other brand with lining, but I'm really underwhelmed. Don't buy these unless you have no other choice. February 6, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ok quality I know the description says the pants aren't lined, but I was expecting the fabric to be a bit nicer. Without lining, these almost feel like factory-quality pants. The jacket is nice, the skirt is lined, and I got it all on sale, so I'll keep it. I was just a bit surprised at the quality of the pants for the price. January 19, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good Office Pant, but.... Cut higher on waist than expected with a waistband taht rolls down when sitting. Also, material is thin. February 12, 2015
