I actually saw these shoes on a blog and loved how they were styled with a dress for the summer. I found out that they were sold at J.Crew and rushed down to try them on.
First off, these shoes are super comfy, as all Nikes are, BUT do require a little breaking in time as they are high tops. I am not used to wearing high tops so they do rub a little, but give nicely after only two wears. I found them to be TTS.
Second, THE LOOK IS VINTAGE!!! Nike released a throw back collection and these beauties were a part of that. The tongue has undone edges and the sides of the white, rubber sole do have a slightly yellowed effect. All of this adds to the charm of the vintage look and has nothing to do with the quality of the item. It's meant to look like that. As per the other reviews, if you are not into the vintage look, then these may not be for you. If you can get past it, they are a great buy, great quality, and a unique Nike staple that not everyone will have ;)

Love the style of these casual sneakers but buyer beware- they run small. The toe is narrow and firm with little to no give. I wear a size 10 in Nike but I would have ordered a 10.5, for comfort. Also, know these are retro-looking sneakers, so the sole is off-color and some of the seams are unfinished; I personally like the touches but they are not for everyone.

There were a couple of details on the shoe that do not translate through the picture on line. The first is that the suede is a much darker gray than the almost sandy color shown online, it’s a good neutral gray but still not what I thought I was purchasing. The second detail was much more problematic. The color of the rubber on the bottom sides of the shoe has a really strange yellow streaky tint that looks almost defective. Adding to the defective look (which is actually well represented in the image) is the unfinished tongue of the shoe, it may be part of the vintage look but it just looked unfinished and cheap. The shoe is true to fit but a struggle to get on even with the lower arch of my foot.

These are the first pair of high tops I've had in awhile. They took some breaking in and made my ankles sore for a few days, but now, I'm wearing them every other day and loving them. I've styled them with skinny jeans and am thinking of ways to expand. I was looking for a great sneaker to commute in and I'm so glad I found these. It was love at first sight, when I got the email I immediately click through and purchased these. Such a great shoe!!

Just in time for summer! They fit great! They feel great! I do a lot of walking this time of year with my husky and he just goes and goes and keeps on going! I love the foot and ankle support the shoes offer; I'm a firm believer that the support I get from these shoes is what helps me keep up with him. Luv luv luv them!!!!
