Petite pencil skirt in Super 120s wool

Rated 4 out of 5 by Seems more narrow than other JCrew pencil skirts I typically wear J.Crew P0 bottoms (or regular size 00 if it's a mini skirt that doesn't come in petite sizes). I have 3 J.Crew petite pencil skirts in pinstripe super 120s and stretch wool, all size P0. I also have 4 pairs of super 120s trousers in P0. I thought I was safe in a size P0 for this skirt, but it is cut too narrow for my taste. I can zip it and sit down in it, but it is too body-skimming for professional wear. I am not curvy, but wearing this skirt in my normal size P0 would cause a few raised eyebrows at my conservative workplace. I actually thought I got an incorrectly-cut skirt--so I compared it with another size P0 along with a size P2. Even though the P2 is slightly too big all over, I think I can work with it. The hem of the P2 falls just above my knees (I am 5'2"). January 17, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by A bit thin, but great in the summer heat. I bought the red skirt, and the fabric is significantly thinner than on the navy blue skirt that I also have. I almost returned it, but the temperature was close to 100 and I couldn't decide what else to wear. It was perfect for work with a black boat neck t-shirt.. I think it will look good in the fall with a black sweater and boots. Five feet tall, 108 pounds, slim hips - I bought size 2P which is just slightly loose. Length was just above my knees. Rated 2 out of 5 by Another year. Another size. J. Crew, you make me crazy. I've been ordering the pencil skirt for years and each time it's a roll of the dice. Two years ago a 0P, last year a 2P and now ordered this one in a 2P only to find that it was swimming on me so back it goes for a 0P which hopefully will work. I LIVE in these skirts for work and totally love the quality and the fit but you need to keep the sizing consistent or update your size charts. Right now, you've got 2P measurements which are way off on this skirt. Please, please fix this. December 26, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Extremely Wrinkled The quality of this skirt is such a disappointment. It got really REALLY wrinkled after I wore it to work for a couple of hours for the first time. It looked so bad and made me feel so embarrassed because I wore it to an important meeting. The fabric is so thin too. If I knew it would get wrinkled so easily, I would not wear it to an important meeting. J Crew, please be considerate and make sure the fabric you use doesn't wrinkled so badly, especially if you are going to charge so much money for it. As far as fit goes, I got my usual size, it is kind of loose, but it is appropriate for the office. September 16, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Great style -poor quality Have ordered this skirt before and loved it. This last skirt I ordered was very disappointed in quality, the second time I wore it the whole hem came undone and I had to tape the hem while out work. That skirt was replaced and a new one sent. The first day I wore it the seem at kick pleat started ripping! For the price of this skirt maybe J Crew needs to use higher quality thread and seamtresses. November 8, 2015
