Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Everyday Work Skirt I needed a new relatively lightweight black skirt so bought this one. It's the first item I've bought made of the Super 120S wool. I like the skirt so much I'm thinking of buying a jacket as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flattering work staple This basic pencil skirt is really flatters my straight-ish shape and doesn't get overly wrinkly throughout the day from sitting at my desk. My only minor issue is with the sizing. The P4 that I ordered this year fits differently from the P4 that I got last year. I looked at the sizing charts before ordering to take any vanity sizing changes into account, but still received a skirt that fits slightly differently than the same size in teh same skirt (different color). The fit still works for me, but sizing consistency seems to be a common issue based on comments on other products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A bit thin, but great in the summer heat. I bought the red skirt, and the fabric is significantly thinner than on the navy blue skirt that I also have. I almost returned it, but the temperature was close to 100 and I couldn't decide what else to wear. It was perfect for work with a black boat neck t-shirt.. I think it will look good in the fall with a black sweater and boots. Five feet tall, 108 pounds, slim hips - I bought size 2P which is just slightly loose. Length was just above my knees.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems more narrow than other JCrew pencil skirts I typically wear J.Crew P0 bottoms (or regular size 00 if it's a mini skirt that doesn't come in petite sizes). I have 3 J.Crew petite pencil skirts in pinstripe super 120s and stretch wool, all size P0. I also have 4 pairs of super 120s trousers in P0. I thought I was safe in a size P0 for this skirt, but it is cut too narrow for my taste. I can zip it and sit down in it, but it is too body-skimming for professional wear. I am not curvy, but wearing this skirt in my normal size P0 would cause a few raised eyebrows at my conservative workplace. I actually thought I got an incorrectly-cut skirt--so I compared it with another size P0 along with a size P2. Even though the P2 is slightly too big all over, I think I can work with it. The hem of the P2 falls just above my knees (I am 5'2").

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Weird Sizing... I recently ordered this skirt in the heather flannel (no pinstripes), as well as the 120's Pinstripe pencil skirt in Navy. The fit between these two skirts is completely different. I ordered both skirts in a P4. My waist is 25-inch and my hips are 37 inches. The Pinstripe skirt fits pretty well, just a little too loose in the waist. However, the heather flannel skirt is very big in the waist, and very tight in the hips. You would think if the only difference between the skirts is pinstripes, the fit would be the same, but clearly that is not the case. I'm thinking perhaps this skirt would fit someone with an apple shape, but if you have a small waist and big hips you will have to size up and tailor it a lot. It's a shame, because I've worn these skirts for years and this is the first time I've had this issue. I agree with other reviewers that the fabric has gotten thinner over the years. Definitely not the same great quality of a few years ago, so not worth the cost of tailoring IMO.
