Product Details

Layers like merino, feels like cashmere. The secret is the gauge of the knit—the higher the number, the finer the fabric. Not only is it super-drapey, it takes color really well (and we all know how much we love our colors).

  • Bracelet sleeves.
  • Dry clean.
  • Import.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Recommend with Caution I've purchased this sweater in both a small and extra small and in many colors. Small for a looser fit ( usually size 4/6 in Crew tops, so I'd say they run slightly large). The fabric is very soft and feels silky against the skin and it fits wonderfully but I've noticed that after a few wears pealing begins to occur( fine little balls of fabric near the sides where your arms or handbag may happen to brush against the sweater). This is annoying as it makes the sweat appear cheap. I wish the fabric wear a better quality because I love the fit. I plan to continue wearing them but I am disappointed and want to let others know of this issue as it may affect your willingness to purchase. Over all I recommend with caution, if you dislike sweater that peel you might want to pass. May 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by treat it with love So i waited for at least 8 months before giving my updated review on this sweater. The feel of this sweater is still amazing as the first time i received it, also i wash them like i do with my cashmere and it turns out great. there is little piling but that is to be expected with such a high gauge knit, it does not mean that the material is cheaper it is just processed differently which makes this sweater more easily to snag or pill. But without the high gauge it would not be able to be layered or feel lightweight, this sweater unlike other wool sweaters feels breathable and soft like cashmere 14guage. I do have the "laundress" sweater comb which is the best garment de-piller out there! i bought mines years back and notice that jcrew now sales the comb as well. so hand wash these, lay flat to dry and use comb afterwards(fully dry) and it should maintain your fine wool garments. Rated 4 out of 5 by not thrilled ordered a medium (I am 5'9" 137 lbs.). fit is blousy on me. sweater wrinkled while sitting at dinner and is pilling after two wearings. color is flattering. May 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great summer sweater I have this sweater in the heather graphite and midnight colors. They are super comfortable and flattering but I sized down to an xxs (I usually wear between an xs and an xxs). Even though I wanted a roomier fit, the xs was huge and looked too big and revealing. The fabric is very lightweight and great for summer. I love the bracelet sleeves (I always get cold wearing 3/4 length sleeved sweaters). May 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolute Must-Have After my first color arrived last fall, I was hooked. I have since purchased this sweater in every color available. It can be incooperated into any outfit year-round. The only downside is that they require constant dry cleaning. They also begin pilling and losing color fairly quickly. But the pluses easily outshine the downsides! May 21, 2014
