Product Details

This gown is the epitome of true romance. It's rendered in delicate eyelash lace that we sourced from a family-owned Rhode Island-based mill that's been perfecting the art of lace making since 1859. The subtle A-line silhouette has a full (but not fussy) skirt with a delicately pleated waist, and it's finished with an interior corset for a comfortable, perfectly secure fit. We're in love with this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic This dress is so comfortable. Easy to wear, sit and walk around in. The built-in corset keeps it in place so it doesn't fall down. The lace seam in at thigh level made me hesitant to buy but it's actually a beautiful detail without drawing eyes away from the gorgeous lines in the top. I'm actually doing a winter wedding with a spring family reception and I plan on having the dress hemmed at the lace line. I am 32, curvy and I feel beautiful and sleek in this dress. It hides my belly, flatters my cleavage and makes me look long and lean. For anyone looking for a very simple, flattering dress this is definitely worth consideration. Looks way better in person! FYI, I'm having a very hard time deciding between this and the Percy dress. They're both so beautiful. This one seems a little more white than ivory in person, if that helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I FINALLY FOUND MY WEDDING DRESS! After reading the ONE review this dress had, I was hesitant ordering it. PLEASE DO! I have tried A LOT of strapless dresses thinking it was a flattering cut but it is NOT. This dress is very flattering and GORGEOUS. The top part is a little hard to put on since it has a built in bra, but once you get pass that it is gorgeous. True to size. I'm a size 4 and 34 B and the only altering is the hem. Great lace quality. I'm very happy! Perfect for my Mexico wedding!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty style We almost chose this dress for my daughter's wedding but she decided against a strapless gown. This one has pretty lace, is very well made as far as the structure of the bodice and inner support. There are several layers of linings in the skirt. The only thing that was of slight concern was the horizontal seaming of the lace above the knee level that could ruffle out a bit and show a line.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Color nothing like the picture I was so excited when this gown arrived and so disappointed when I opened the box and saw the color. I loved the lovely white color in the online picture. The actual gown is a very buttery yellow/cream color. Not even close to the picture. The quality of the gown is good but not great. I think this would have been the gown I selected had the color been the pretty white shown in the picture. The hunt continues...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed in this one... This was possibly the most disappointing JCrew wedding dress that I tried. The lace fabric was really soft and flimsy - not thick and substantial like I expected. It was almost like a nightgown fabric. There is also a fairly high slit in the side of the skirt that you don't see in the web photos. The slit actually made the dress easier to walk in than if there was no slit, but it's not for everyone, so heads up. If you want something soft, light and casual (maybe getting married on a hot beach?) I could see this working for you.
