Its really a great, quality top but for me, it was definitely not work appropriate. The key hole was extremely low and revealed way too much. I am 5'3, 34D so maybe it would be better on a longer torso. I loved the top so i might get it tailored and the key hole sewn up.

The quality of the crepe is fabulous -- heavy and luxurious. The pattern is so retro. Works with all my straight skirts and particularly great with Curator pants in navy.

Great Fall transition piece. My VPS paired it with the flower bud tassel necklace, pencil skirt, cardigan and harper flats for a presentation appearance for me. The top has just enough color/design not to look boring or old. I did not find the cut to be too low. There is a hook at the top to keep the seams together. The picture does not really represent the actual good quality of the top.

So, stupidly, I popped this top (it arrived wrinkled) in the wash without first checking the care instructions. Really stupidly, because it shrank by about 4 inches in length. It was super cut on, pre-wash, so I'm going to donate the shrunken one and try again. What looks like red in the photo is really more brown. Seriously, even in cold water, don't even think of putting it in the wash! I have a long torso and this top was actually long enough and not boxy. As others have pointed out, the slit in the front is weirdly low.

Never would have picked this pattern online, but when I actually tried it on underneath a solid navy suit, it looked really good. Good quality crepe. The keyhole is definitely too low and I will get it closed up so that I can wear it to work!
