Rated 3 out of 5 by RebKoh Sizing Error?
I read here that these jeans tend to fit small -- I'm usually a J. Crew 27 so I ordered a 28 to be safe. Even sizing up, I couldn't get these pants passed my thighs. This was a little frustrating. They seemed like they'd make a nice jean had I been able to get them on. I would have ordered another pair, but the 28 fit SO SMALL, I didn't even know what size to try next...
I wondered if there was actually an error in the sizing/labelling department?
Maybe order two pairs to be safe? Good luck!

I love the look and feel of these jeans, but they run a full size small. I couldn't even button these and I am a 27 in every other jean. Bummed.

These jeans are very nice. Fabric is not very stretchy, the look is sturdy and color is awesome. I think it looks best on girls with boyish figure and they are a bit low on the waist (mid-rise would be my dream-jean). Overall, very classic, worn-in, soft, summer perfect jean.

These jeans are worth every penny. The fabric is the best feature, strong but soft and no stretch ( which i prefer). The fit is awesome and I always get compliments when I wear these. Looks great with flats or heels. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Emma Wish I could find a pair that fit!
Ideally, I would learn my size in the toothpick and I could just always order that size. But, much to my frustration, every pair is different. Take these selvedge jeans (such a cute wash!)--I bought my regular size, and then even tried one size up, but they are so small I can't pull them over my thighs. My other toothpicks still work fine, so I'm thinking some versions have more or less stretch than others? Perhaps my regular toothpicks have a bit of give? Anyway, I don't have a local JCrew store, so trying to crack the toothpick code is frustrating. They are all labeled "toothpick" but I suspect they aren't exactly the same. And yes, I've tried the "stretch" toothpicks, but found I almost need to size DOWN in those. Ugh. I dream of a day where each item has exact measurements so I'll know if they fit before I buy.
