This top is appropriately named because it is certainly luxe. I no longer need to hunt around for the perfect top that effortlessly transitions between 9 to 5 and beyond. It's subtlety sexy--who doesn't love that? I loved it so much, I bought it in white.

I order this in size 2 smaller than my reg size 4. The armholes are the only part that fits me well. The neckline is too low and shows cleavage. The body is loose and long, kind of boxy for me, it appears as too much fabric to wear with my collection pencil skirt. I am considering the size 0. Overall, I absolutely like the simplicity of the style, and the color (night shadow) and the fabric is of excellent quality. I am 5’5”, 122 LBS and have small waistline. I hope this will help in ordering your size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by aTallDrinkofWater simple, classic, elegant
I am reviewing this top in black, in my regular J.Crew top size (12). I am 6 ft. tall with 36D bust, and I find this top runs drapey/loose, but not enough for me to want to size down. It just slips on over the head so I wouldn't want it to be more fitted or putting it on/taking it off could be challenging. The fabric is indeed weighter than the silk crepe de chine in the Blythe blouse. It is opaque in black. The v-neck is low but doesn't show cleavage, and the armholes are appropriately sized (not too big and a regular bra doesn't show in the armholes). Actually it fits me just the same as shown on the model. I think it will look great over skinny jeans or pixie pants, or tucked into a nice skirt or trousers for work. I do think this shirt is overpriced for what it is, and I even got it on a nice promotion, but it is nicely constructed and classic, and I'm sure it will be a wardrobe workhorse. I'd consider other colors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Xenia nice quality, but low cut and large
The quality of the silk is pretty amazing. It's thick and heavy, which makes the top drape beautifully.
However, the sizing is off - I ended up buying a size smaller than what I normally wear in JCrew (it's still a little oversized), and having a tailor make splits down the sides, to accommodate my hips.
Also it is very low cut. More than I would have expected from the photos. Even in a size smaller than what I normally wear, it borders on inappropriate for work, a pity since that was the main purpose I bought it for.
I still kept it - I figure that with a blazer and perhaps a scarf I should be fine. and it is great for off duty dressing up.

I'm a little ashamed I paid so much for this very simple, no thrills shirt. However it is a nice staple that fits tts and is flattering and feels luxurious. I will not buy another at full price, but if this top goes on sale i'd be interested in other colors.
