Rated 2 out of 5 by Did not fit as expected Had to buy 2 sizes larger than what I bought in jcrew maternity jeans to get a relaxed fit. Own non maternity jcrew denim jean shorts that fit me perfectly until my belly outgrew them that are true to size. Just think quality Of cut and fit has some kinks to be worked out. Also had bought the shorts in blue wash same size as white and they were too small to keep. May 31, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Runs Small I had to go up 3 sizes in both these and the white maternity jean. Otherwise I love them. June 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by finally - flattering maternity clothes! somehow this waist is comfortable, even in my third trimester. The best part is the leg openings don't squeeze my thighs, which are thicker than usual. I did size up from pre-pregnancy 28 to a 31, just to give myself some room. You never know what you'll feel like at 36 weeks - roomy pants are always a good idea. Great investment - LOVE these shorts. February 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Maternity Short Bought these as they're not as scary as other maternity short brands and they are incredibly comfortable and I haven't taken them off since! I can wear with non-maternity shirts and don't mind the elastic showing a bit as it's not as embarrassing to show as a full elastic panel. I'm 7 months and have only gained 15 lbs (I'm 5'4" and started at around 130 lbs, in a size 26 JCrew jean size) and purchased a size 28 and they fit very comfortably, so the sizes run a little small and I'd go up from your normal size. Rated 3 out of 5 by must try on! I typically wear a size 28 pre maternity. I am still the same in all other maternity brands. These fit small. After exchanging them for a 30, I still think they fit rather odd even though the only thing really growing is my belly. I love J Crew, but these do not live up to their usual fit. After having to pay the exchange rate twice because I live in Canada, I will not be returning. I will have to make do. April 1, 2015
