Rated 5 out of 5 by My favorite sweater I am a tippi addict with 7 tippis ordered over the last three years. They are essential parts of my work and off time looks. Although not recommended by Jcrew I wash mine in the washer (cold delicate) and dry flat ( rack in dryer) without shrinkage. I and 5'6 130 lb and prefer size medium for a slightly loose fit . (My ivory and sandstone tippis are L. I washed them in the regular cycle (warm wash cold rinse) and dried them with the regular clothes to make them shrink to a size medium with a slightly denser texture so they are not see thru). Tippi sweaters are the best weight for most of the year I even bring one to work in the summer to throw over my shoulders if the ac gets to be too much. May 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Recommend with slight caution I have the Tippi in several colors. I selected small. FYI, this small runs big,but I like to layer (with a bottom down and add a cute statement necklace) so it wasn't an issue. For a more fitter look I would go down to an XS. For reference ( I'm 5'10"/140) I usually wear a 4 but have purchased six for looser fits as I don't like fabric clinging to me. These sweaters aren't itchy. I have noticed some peeling but not a lot. I have to agree with other, these are sheer, you'll need at least a cami otherwise you'll be putting on a show. Overall I would recommend because I love the fit and versatility of the Tippi. Their thinness makes them perfect under a blazer. Just a tip- Don't hang your Tippi ( you run the risk of getting hanger bumps if you do). Keep them folded on a shelf . May 15, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointing I have worn these sweaters for a few years now. A few months ago I picked up two more colors to add to my collection and I'm very disappointed to find holes in both. It isn't as though I'm wearing these for anything strenuous- mainly to my desk job. There is no reason that for the price these sweaters should be falling apart so quickly. Very disappointed in the quality of many items I've purchased from j.crew recently. It's very clear that quality isn't a priority as it used to be. December 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Can't stop buying these! I hope J Crew doesn't stop making these until I'm tired of them! They are the most versatile pieces in my wardrobe. I have about 7 of them and wear them a lot. The neckline lays flat and is neither too high nor too low. The 3/4 sleeves look great on women of all sizes. Looks good on its own or with a button down underneath. The knit is nice and smooth and drapes well. But the best part- they're not itchy! They do pill a bit after several wears , but a quick zip with a razor fixes that! May 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Choice When You Don't Know What to Wear I love the Merino Tippi sweaters. The colors are vibrant, the look is casual with jeans and dressier with skirts and a blazer. These are so easy to wear. I like mine a little bit slouchy so I got these in a small (I'm 5'4, 103 lbs). Great for fall, winter and spring and maybe even chilly summer nights. May 5, 2014
