I love this dress! I bought it in navy for an interview and paired it with a white blazer. It's a simple silhouette, but has a modern touch thanks to the side panels. I am 5' 4'' and 117lbs and bought it in a 0 which is my normal J. Crew size. Perfect fit, with no annoying riding up on the bottom half or gaping at the top. The material is thick, flattering, and somewhat stretchy which makes it unusually comfortable for a structured dress. It's unlined, but doesn't need to be given the thickness of the material. I highly recommend this versatile dress.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Julie High hopes but didn't work
I'm 5'4" and vary between size 0 to size 2 in JCrew dresses. Bought a 2 in this dress since it was a fitted stretch material for the bottom half of my shape - hugs a bit too much for work and you can see any bump in the poppy color (versus a black). Top off gapped pretty significantly under the arms and loose so sadly its going back.

This looked like such a great work dress, but there's a weird gap at the arms that's really unattractive and inappropriate for work (shows skin in an odd place). Too bad - otherwise the style and fit are great. It's going back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Suzanne Too tight for work!
Bought this dress to wear to work but it's too stretchy and clingy to be appropriate for the office--you can see every bump and line through the material. I love the blue color and style but unfortunately it has to go back.

I had really hopes for this dress, but in my opinion it did not fit true to size and could have used some light lining. I'm a size 00-0 in JCrew and this dress was much too tight for work. If you have a larger bust there's a strange puckering below each breast that is just unflattering. I really wanted to love it.
