Rated 2 out of 5 by Absolutely not worth it. Starting on a positive note, it's a nice-looking pencil skirt - it was going to be part of my 6th J.Crew suit. But wow, what terrible construction and workmanship inside. Crooked seams drifting onto other pieces that shouldn't be sewn together, seams already coming apart, cutting corners on the waistband... only a few examples... Given that J.Crew used to be my go-to for suits, I was really disappointed when I received and tried on this skirt. I'm not sure I'd even purchase it if it was deeply discounted. October 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice skirt Ordered this skirt in the same size as the double serge pencil skirts and telegraph pencil skirts that I own, but it is much smaller. Would have to go up a size in order to fit. The fabric and quality seemed fine, but I had to return as it was just way to small. October 27, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Defective / bad quality, rips at the back slit I had to replace two skirts made of 120Super (one solid heather grey and one pinstripe), both for the same reason: the both ripped at the back slit. Of course, this can happen, when the skirt is very old, or too tight, or if one takes a very wide step while walking or jump over a puddle of water ... But none of this happened. I have worn suits for the past 20 years - I wear skirt suits ALL THE TIME, of all brands, and price-points. So I am confident that the ripping issue is due to a defect in the fabric quality and/or seaming (lack of interfacing, precisely). Since I own the matching jackets, I bought the two replacement skirts, so I can still wear them as suits. Now guess what happened, after wearing the replacement Super Pinstripe skirt THREE times? The seem above the back slit ... ripped. It happened because why, I work in an office, and walked back and forth from home (15 minutes walk). I am done. And I recommend that you do not buy these skirts. May 31, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Runs Small Fits odd I purchased this skirt because it matched the jacket and pants that I already own. I'm usually the same size in JCrew clothes so I didn't bother trying the skirt on until I wore it to work today. Well, it runs small and I ripped it getting out of the car this morning. Also, the color is slightly lighter than the suit jacket. :-( April 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Classic Piece The navy pinstripe is a lovely (very) dark navy and the pinstripping is very subtle. You have to be up lose to really notice the subtlety, which I like. the fabric is a very nice hand and sheen. It's a classic piece in both cut and styling October 28, 2014
