Campbell blazer in houndstooth

Campbell blazer in houndstooth is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! My new favorite blazer! I'm a 4-6 in J. Crew blazers, and based on the reviews that this is cut for a slim fit, I ordered the 6. While the arms would've given me enough room to layer underneath, the shoulders were kind of baggy, and there was a bit of material where the inner arms meet the body. I planned on getting it altered for a slimmer cut, but then saw the 4 at my local store--it was PERFECT! The shoulder seams were spot on, arms were just a wee bit narrower, but I could live with that (I did make sure I could wear a long sleeve comfortably underneath), and the body of the jacket was tapered and looked very feminine! The houndstooth is navy & ivory so it's not as harsh as black & white; the material is nice and cozy! For reference, I'm 34c or size 6 medium in most of J. Crew's shirts and 28 in pants. The size 4 in the Campbell blazer is great for me! Slightly more relaxed than the Schoolboy fit, which I also wear a 4 in, but not as constricting as the Regents, of which I wear a 6. Hope that helps!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Timeless Love the pattern and fabric of this jacket. Sizing was a little difficult. For reference: 5'6";110lbs; 32C. I was between 00 and 0. Shoulders fit better in 00 but sleeves a little shorter than I would like. I opted for 00 anyway. Live in SoCal so no need to layer up under the jacket. Would recommend 0 for those who would want to layer. You won't be disappointed; the fabric is not stiff or itchy. A classic for sure and looks amazing with jeans!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully made The minute I tried this jacket on I knew it was a keeper. It's made like a $300.00 blazer. The lining is gorgeous and almost as beautiful as the hounds tooth wool on the outside. If you are looking for a really nice fall jacket this is it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant! This blazer looks even better in person than it does online. The houndstooth print is classic and preppy, & the ivory/navy color combo is brilliant! The navy contrasts nicely against the ivory, but is softer than black houndstooth. It's my favorite thing about this blazer. The fabric is a nice weight for Fall. I'm between a size 0 and size 2 in this style. I'm 5'4" and 125 lbs. The 0 looks made for me but is a little tight in the shoulders and elbows, particularly in this thicker/heavier fabric. The 2 is comfortable but somewhat baggy, which ultimately looks frumpy in this fabric and print. I'll need to consult with a seamstress to see if the size 0 can be taken out a little. If this blazer fits you it's a great, timeless find!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Classic houndstooth blazer I love this blazer. This blazer is a little more boxy than I expected. I would have prefer to have it a little more fitted but I think the boxiness of the blazer will allow me to layer underneath it more in the winter.
