Rated 2 out of 5 by Bring Cece back I absolutely loved the Cece flats and thought these would be a good replacement. I could wear those all day long plus some, with these I hobbled home in pain the first day. Style is cute, but agree with others that don't like the elastic. Comfort is not great, will have to keep looking for the perfect ballet flat. Bring back Cece!!!! May 13, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bring Cece back!! These pale in comparison to the Cece ballet flat. The Cece flats were the absolute best ballet flats I've ever owned. Emma is highly disappointing in shape, fit, size & support. The elastic back is unoriginal & uncomfortable. Zero support. I don't find the shaper flattering in any capacity. Very sad :-( May 14, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Like the CeCe flat better I did not like how this flat fit. I have 2 of the CeCe flats and I like them a LOT, so I was disappointed to find that they discontinued them. These flats look too casual and they fit my foot very oddly and looked ugly from the side. I returned them. Hopefully they will bring the CeCe flats back! April 30, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed I always loved jcrew ballet flats. They were historically made in Italy of the softest leather. Seems like they skipped that step on these. The backs cut into my feet. When I put them next to my other Jcrew flats, you can tell these are a cheaper quality. Don't buy them unless you get them on final sale. Just not worth it. May 1, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by No support For comparison, I have the suede version of these shoes which are very comfy, and I bought these because I wanted a black pair of flats. Unfortunately, the leather version misses the mark and they are so uncomfortable! On this shoe, the way the leather is constructed squeezes the bones around the big toe box, which made it extremely painful for me after wearing for a short period of time. While on vacation, I had to go back to the hotel and change into my sneakers because these flats were so uncomfortable and painfully pinching my foot bones due to the lack of support (I feel like walking barefoot would have been more comfortable). And I have the same issues with another popular designer brand so I believe it has to do with the design and the leather not being flexible enough. This saddens me because I bought these for comfort to wear during my daily commute to work, but now I have a pair of lightly worn shoes I can't use. May 8, 2014
