Rated 3 out of 5 by Linda TALL: Too short, too narrow flare
1. In the last few years, JCrew has removed approx. 1 inch from the "Tall" inseam. "Tall" length has been changed from previous 35" to current 34" inseam. Longer inseam is preferable.
2. Also, the bootcut flare (around shin and ankle) has been noticeably narrowed. Flare use to fit easily around cowboy/harness boot with extra space for movement. Now flare is much narrower/straighter, doesn't drop/fall easily to boot top once standing, bunches and grips boot. Wider flare is preferable.
So.... fabric has been removed from inseam and from bootcut flare. Plus, cord seems thinner, wears faster (particularly at pockets)... cost savings?
3. Not related to this camel color but... I rarely buy your black cords anymore because your new black cord color is NOT the same as the old black color. The new black color is more cloudy and "worn" gray. Your older cords (from several years ago?) are VERY dark black. Dark black cords are preferable. :) :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by SeaPetts so tired of skinnys-love these cords
compared to cords from a competitor, the JCrew bootcut cords run short. I am 5'10" and the Long fit just right, but I cannot put them in the dryer if they shrink they will be too short. Not sure what taller ladies would do. also I am hourglass shape and have a hard time with all the 'boy-fit' type and 'skinny' pants JCREW has. with these cords though they fit in waist, butt, and thigh - fantastic! that being said-I WISH JCREW WOULD MAKE CHINO-TYPE PANTS WITH THIS FIT!!!! I have some cuffed 'trouser' fit chinos in charcoal grey from 7 years ago and they are the best, but I wore them out. if I knew JCrew was going to stop making them I would have bought twenty pairs. Please JCrew, hold up a little with all the 'skinnys', and make more 'trouser' and 'bootcut' fits, in your khaki and chino fabrics, with lots of colors like the garnet, etc. i would buy tons of these! Just like the chino shorts, but longer #obviously :#) and with trouser or bootcut legs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cindy tall sizing has mysteriously shrunk
J. Crew seems to have decided that tall people have shrunk a couple of inches. They have removed two inches and reduced tall size inseams to 34 inches. I used to love J. Crew corduroys but sadly I can no longer purchase them any longer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by kabe Tall need a longer than 34 inches inseam!!
These pants are incredeble BUT... Please make back the usual 36 inches inseam for tall girl (or at least 35)!!! 34" is too short for me at 5'-10". I red many comments in that way from tall girls. All my pants (and most of my clothes in fact) come from J. Crew because of the tall collection. I would like to buy few pairs of pants but because of that "short tall length", I can't. This is too sad!

Rated 4 out of 5 by 2Cats Runs Too Small!
I bought the deep garnet and it's a lovely color. Material is nice, soft and warm. However, these pants run way too small. I always order a Tall 28 in the jeans and thought it would be the same for the cords. For reference, I'm 5'9 and currently 143 lbs. They fit great in the legs, but I couldn't get them to button comfortably at the waist. I will be exchanging for the next size up.
