Wallace & Barnes Shetland wool cable sweater

The ivory color in the pictures looks nice, the color of the actual sweater has an orange/peach tint to it and looks very cheap. When put beside any other similar color sweater it looks dingy and dirty

There are a lot of reviews stating how huge and itchy this sweater is, but I went for it anyway and really enjoy it. I've had no problems with the itchiness and the sizing seems like it would fit like any comfy old sweater (tbh I did size up and shrink it down). As for only giving it four stars, the knit is quite loose (my reason for sizing up and shrinking). Whatever you're wearing underneath will be somewhat visible. Overall I'd recommend it to anybody wanting a warm, chunky, stylish sweater.

Destined to be one of my favorite sweaters. I purchased the Ivory in size small. The fit is perfect and the color is wonderful. I love the cable pattern throughout the sweater, especially the intricate cables on the front. I couldn't be more pleased with the fit and style of this sweater. Wonderful by itself on a cool fall day or during winter months under a jacket or coat.

I have been searching for a classic cable knit sweater that is made with good materials and isn't any kind of kitschy color. This is a classic piece that will most likely stay in my wardrobe for many years. The only complaint I have is that it runs very large. I have an athletic build and wear a large in nearly everything I have every bought from J. Crew in the past, but the large was just too big and slouchy-- not my style. I exchanged it for a medium and it is a perfect fit.

I usually wear medium and the medium fit perfectly. very warm as well. My go to sweater for winter. slightly itchy when i first wore it, but got used to it.

Nice looking sweater, but the itchiest wool I've ever felt and it runs very small. I own lots of JC sweaters and this large fits like a medium.
