June 17, 2017These slacks have a good weight and fit true to size, but they fade instantly. All four of my 484's look 5 years old after 4 months of wear. Disappointing to already be in the market for new pants...

An enduring professional staple
May 25, 2017These have been the foundation of my professional wardrobe for many years - like other customers/reviewers, I purchase a few new pairs every season without fail, but keep the old because the heavier construction makes them last much longer than other pants. And the fit is super reliable. I have noticed fewer colors and stocked sizes lately and would really hate to see these get phased out. I can appreciate the stretch version, and now have a pair myself, but these are a classic!! Hoping this is because a new assortment of colors will be rolled out later this year.

Fits true to size
Great pants, bad color.
December 30, 2016I'm skinny and the stretch 484's are my best-fitting pants. The only issue I had with the essential 484 pants was the color. I ordered "Smoked Graphite" expecting gray but it was much more of a green/olive color. There was a clear difference when placed next to my old gray pants. Unfortunately, I like the sizing and fit of the pants but will be returning my recent purchase because the color was not accurately defined.

Like others have said, great pants, but they fade.
October 28, 2016The pants fit great, look great, but after maybe 5-6 washings, they look very old. I have to buy a pair every 4-6 months to keep them looking new.
