Fisherman pumps in shiny spazzolato leather

Incredibly comfortable block heel sandal . Love the look of the shiny leather, the black heel is high ( for me!) but the shoe is incredibly comfortable. My only warning is that the black leather is making my feet black from the straps and I’m hoping this ends fairly quickly. Maybe it’s a first few wearing, color rub off? But they are incredibly comfortable right out of the box! The block heel and the solid shank in the shoe redistribute bodyweight all over your entire foot, not not just on the ball of your foot. Given that they’re on sale? I may just buy the brown ones, and risk color tub off, too.

I got these shoes today and they are stunning, unique looking and well made. I noticed right away the leather is excellent quality. It is also exactly how it was described in the title, spazzolato = shinny. But, unlike some reviewers, I don't think it detracts from the rest of the shoe once you put it on. My only complain is that I don't have them in all 3 colors.

I bought these shoes because I thought they were cute and the description said “ Made in Italy from spazzolato leather”. So I thought l’m buying myself a pair of Italian shoes. But they are made in Morocco. Being final sale I’m really disappointed.

I have been an avid J Crew customer for many, many years, and today is the first time I have felt moved enough to actually leave a review. I actually gasped when I laid eyes on these sandals. The "shiny spazzolato leather" is VERY shiny. It looks like rubber. It's almost gooey. I was truly shook when I saw the look and felt the texture of the leather of these shoes. Up close, it looks very cheap. However, I got these sandals for $44 on final sale, and the shape and look of the sandal is very cute (aside from the shine of the leather). For $44, I am ok with these. Not at all worth the original price. I hope this review helps someone manage their expectations of what to expect with this leather!

I also watched these until I saw a review before I bought them since they were final sale. I really love them! Purchased the hickory color and they go with everything. I’m a teacher and I’m on my feet quite a bit and these were comfortable all day. I bought my regular size 6 1/2 and they were perfect, tts! If between sizes, I would order up. I like the shiny leather and feel they are very well made! I love that they are made in Italy ❤️.

I purchased these pumps in every color, but gave them a rating of 4 because the material looks and feels very cheap. The underside of the material on each pair of shoes feels more like cardboard than real leather, this was very surprising for a product coming from J Crew. Walking around the house in the pump has been very comfortable. The true test will come on Monday when I wear the shoe to work. It is hard to complain when the price was so low, however, I've come to expect quality products from J Crew, not cheap imitations. Still, the pumps should be good for everyday wear provided they last through the summer.
