1 week agoI like this dress but I felt like a trad wife in it. It's a little frumpy. I returned it. The waist is very short so I got the tall but it's so long.

Beautiful Quality Classic Piece
June 19, 2026My first purchase from J.Crew. The fabric is soft and medium weight so is not see through. I’m 5’8’, 150 lbs and measure 37.5 (34DD), 29, 40.5 and bought a medium - my usual size. Fits perfectly except a little sung in the chest. There’s a lot of fabric in the skirt so I think a large would have been too much. I buttoned it a little higher so it didn’t pull as much. Wore with white leather sneakers and felt the perfect balance of casual and polished for this 65 year old. A great silhouette for my pear shape. I only wish I didn’t have to iron it after washing.
