Parc dress in denim

One of the worst fits, most likely because I listened to other reviewers advice and sized up too much. I usually wear a size 2 and got a size 6. I think a 4 would have fit better but I can’t tell for sure. The fabric is very thick. It is in general a weird fit if you are a petite/slender build. I shouldn’t have chanced it on a final sale.

This is a nice heavy structured denim dress. The fabric looks great and holds it shape well, does not look cheap. I have not washed yet so am unsure how much the fabric will soften. The shape is nice as it cuts in at the waste and gives a great shape to the body. Nice length, short but not too short for this middle aged woman.

Well made tailored dress. The fabric is a bit heavy so it won't work for really hot weather.

Good quality med-/heavy-weight denim (This is not a Summer dress.). Don't love the matte buttons, which look like WWII-era Army vintage (more muddy brown than brass) and are much less shiny than represented in the pictures. The length is acceptable if you're able to find your correct sizing. The waist is super cinched in for an overall true hour-glass shape and really great if you have a tiny waist and only slightly bigger booty. I'm 5'7", 36B, and 150-155lbs (most of my weight is centered in my hips and thighs). I typically wear a size 10, but sized up to a size 14 based on reading EVERY review and also crossing my fingers. It just fits (barely), but not sure I'll risk putting it in the dryer as it is super fitted as is and also don't think I would feel comfortable wearing it out of the house if it was much shorter. I would've given it 3.5 stars if I had the option because of the strange sizing and odd buttons. However, trying to be optimistic it will soften/stretch slightly with wear.

This is a gorgeous high end denim dress. I love this style and have it in linen from a previous season. The unfortunate and I mean very unfortunate part is the sizing is so way off I am shocked they didn't catch this in their quality control department. I find JCrew to be of fine quality and have a closet dominated by JCrew. I got married in JCrew 20 years ago!! Please do better. This is literally my THIRD dress with this issue. I bought all three purposely in a size larger and even a size larger was too small. And the icing on the cake is not being able to return or exchange ;(

I loved this style of dress the first moment i saw it. It has a vintage vibe. I’m 5’4” and have an hour glass figure. Usually around 130-133 lbs Currently at 140. I bought the size 8 which just fits. Definitely need to take a few lbs off for it to fit better yet it still looks good. The length is perfect and I see myself wearing this late summer/early Fall. The material is great. Very classy.
