Ikat perfect shirt

What a great shirt - the fabric is so silky soft, still a bit textured. Thin and slouchy, just like I wanted. As others said, the colors are more vibrant than they appear on the model, but the fabric itself adds to a kind of casual rustic feel, so I don't mind. Since others said it ran small, I got a 4 and I'm glad I did. When I want a shirt to fit snug and tailored I get a 2, but this is just right for this shirt style. I'm 5'6'', 125 lbs, small chest. The hang of it is really nice.

I'm a true size 6 in all jcrew tops but this shirt runs small. I had to get a size 8, which fits more like a 6.

I bought this shirt because of the ikat pattern and colors. The fabric is ultra-soft - almost like a pajama top - and so the shirt doesn't hold a shape. But maybe that's the definition of a "perfect" shirt. I tumble my blouses and shirts on air in the dryer and then hang them to dry. But this shirt had to be ironed - a big negative.

Really like how this shirt fits and drapes for a work appropriate look that doesn't feel stuffy. Love the colors, the green is definitely bright though there isn't much of it. I have a 35.5" bust and 29" waist and the size 8 is a good fit for my athletic shoulders. The body is loose fitting but not in a sloppy way. I can also order small or size 6 in JCrew for a closer fit, though I'm glad I went with my larger size here.

Love the shirt. One of a kind. Get many compliments when I wear it. Material is soft and natural feeling.

I purchased the blouse because of its unique pattern and colors, which turned out to be very close to that on the website. But I did not expect the material to be such an disappointment. It creases easily, loose and thin. It looks sloppy on me. I would have returned it had I not washed it.
