University terry tie-waist short

Super comfy easy lounge short in super soft terry sweatshirt material. Love they have a drawstring

It’s surprisingly hard to get a pair of casual shorts right. These are winners for me because of the longer length, the drape, and the elastic and drawstring waistband that are comfortable and reminiscent of old-school gym shorts (hello, 90s!). So comfortable, yet not sloppy-looking :) The cotton is soft and I appreciate that it’s not thick terry-cloth on the inside (who wants to wear a large sweaty towel when it’s summer?). I bought the navy with the extra 60% off promotion, and went back when they were an extra 50% off. Medium is just right - I’m 5’ 5” and currently 173 pounds, 33 inch waist, 43 inch hips. Contemplating the cream and black stripe! This and the lime-green university terry shorts (also perfection, by the way - please bring them back!) from last year are on heavy rotation!

It's true to size if you want the roomy feel. I'm usually size 6 or 8 and medium is roomy and probably would have sized down to a small for a more fitted look.
