quality piece but not for me
August 21, 2019Was interested in this because of the enviro-friendly fabric and the look. Fabric was pretty wrinkled as per other comments. Looking at fabric care instructions, no wash or iron, it seemed like it was going to be a project to take care of. The color was nice, it seemed well made. But the fabric was pretty heavy, especially with the poly lining...didn't feel as fun, flirty, light as it looked in photo. Also, waistband was on small side...I could get into it but could get uncomfortable if I ate a large lunch (2 is my usual size in skirts). Regular size was long but reasonable for me (5'2"). Seems like it would go with quite a few things. In the end I guess I didn't love it enough to deal with limited care instructions, but if you don't mind it is a nice piece.

Beautiful skirt
July 3, 2019As pictured. Length is at the calf. Kind of thick and color is vivid. Read previous reviews and followed their suggestions went up a size. Fit is great.

No more tencel dobby for me
July 2, 2019Wrinkles terribly. I looked like I'd been on a cross-country flight after my 10-minute commute.

Wrinkled mess! Embarrassed at work event.
June 23, 2019I wore the pantsuit to work and then was stuck with having to wear it to an important professional event and was EMBARRASSED looking like a wrinkled mess. The fabric wrinkles to the point it isn't wearable within an hour, which is accentuated in pampered pink. I will not be keeping the skirt, which I hoped would complete the set. It also runs one full size small. J.Crew, don't let me or anyone else down again, please. Never use this fabric again for anything!

This could have been perfect
June 21, 2019I ordered the blush pink which is really more like a lovely shade of nude/beige. I had 2 big issues with it: 1. It wrinkles instantly. I love the outside fiber choice because it's ideal for hotter weather but the quality of it and color shows every single wrinkle, making the classic look of this skirt look so unkempt. I even ironed it and tested it out and it wrinkles immediately no matter what you do. 2. The lining is polyester. Why? I couldnt feel that lovely fiber anymore and polyester makes you hot. I wish they made the lining the same as the outside of the skirt. Finally, I does run TTS. You could size down so the skirt fits better if you're slim or you can size up to have the skirt hit lower if you've got hips. I went up a size to have some wiggle room since I've got curves. I wanted this dress to work. It's so beautiful and I love everything about it otherwise but sadly had to return. I even had a slim fit tee from here in beige that looks amazing with this blush skirt.

Love the style
June 11, 2019I love the style of this skirt. It feels summery & fun. The color is not as bright or vibrant as shown in the website. This fabric wrinkles badly. I'm on the fence about keeping it or returning it.
