Fair Isle leggings

Based on the size of last year's leggings, I order an S for my Mom. The waist turned out to be huge: the S measures 30 inches in circumference, the length of the elastic band. It it were not a final sale, I would love to return it.

Was very disappointed in this purchase. I had a pair of the fair isle leggings last year and they were wonderful-wore really well, very durable, great style, high quality. I thought I'd get another pair since they were on sale and I wear them all the time at home-they're great for winter. The pair that arrived were much more cheaply constructed and the second day I wore them, the entire waist band broke away from the pants and they were unrepairable. And I'm tiny and they were the right size; it's not that they were too small. And because they were final sale, I couldn't return them.

I always wanted a pair like these ones and just loved the color but unfortunately they looked great on for about a day. They got saggy and quality of the material was rather disappointing for a jcrew product. Hope they remake the design with better fabric for next year!!

Have been wearing these around the house this winter. The knit is warm and soft but not heavy. I ordered a size up so they fit more like sweatpants than leggings.

Very nice piece and would definitely recommend!! Just wish they were made in Italy!!!

I picked up another pair this year because I'm always cold. These are cuter and warmer than sweats...and like J. Crew's merino sweaters, they aren't itchy. I just wish they came in tall sizes. I'm 5'9" with a 35" inseam in flats, for reference, and these hit about 3" above my ankles.
