Collection raffia shells skirt

I just received this today and couldn't be happier. It runs slightly large, I wouldn't say a whole size, and I found no problems with the quality. It is a lovely, heavier, quality fabric, and I could even wear this in winter.

Saw this online and thought it had a nice drape and design. Upon arrival the fabric was disappointingly unimpressive, a jaquard tablecloth look; while the shells are the jaquard their texture lends to being easily snagged or pulled. I returned because the entire waistband had intermitten threads pulled that screamed tweeze me. Italian mill special, no thank you. Sizing does run small I sized up but back it goes.

first of all, this skirt is fabulous! beautiful fabric, excellent workmanship and it's lined! the flounce adds a special touch and looks great with valentina pumps. second, and most important, it runs very, very small in waist and hips. i ordered my usual size six and couldn't get it zipped. not even close. BUT i do highly recommend this skirt. just order up one size and you'll be good to go! a real bargain at the sale price. i'm going to order again and hope for the best as this swinging skirt would be a three season go-to part of my wardrobe.
