Doren opened the Van Doren Rubber Company in Anaheim, California. The shop made and sold shoes directly to its customers, becoming popular with skateboarders who preferred their tough-but-lightweight construction and extra-grip soles. They're designed to be anti-fatigue and are made with 30 percent content from plants. This version of the Premium Authentic reissue sneakers is made with soft suede uppers, full-grain leather collars, waffle-rubber outsoles and the iconic Vans heel tab.
