Field boots in English leather
practical boots are modeled after an archival pair from our catalog and crafted from English pull-up leather that will mold to your feet over time. Originally designed for outdoor work and hunting, field boots have a long history of keeping feet protected and comfortable in the toughest conditions. This leather comes to us from C.F. Stead, an English tannery that's been perfecting its processes since the early 1900s. It's hand-antiqued with a natural waxed finish that will break in and develop a patina that's unique to you. We aso added durable Vibram® outsoles to round out this reliable, comfortable boot that can go from traipsing through fields to dinner on the town.

Great boots, tight at first!
6 days agoI bought these in brown in a size 12 and they are very high quality. I was worried at first that I had bought the wrong size because they were VERY tight on first wear and did cause some blisters on my heels. But after that first wear, I have had no problems. I think the more I wear them the more perfect the fit will be.

Good boots (own 3 pairs)with one very minor flaw
1 week agoThe material and fit of these boots is great, I have 3 pairs across different colors in leather/suede and they’re all consistently sized. I’m a 7.5E on the brannock device and a 9 in these boots fits me perfectly. The boots are pretty comfortable out of the box and break-in is easy. The only thing bringing me down to 4 stars is that the eyelets and hooks have some sharp/less finished edges that have led to my laces wearing out at a specific spot over time. It’s not the end of the world, but this little detail means I’ll have to keep buying new laces or I’ll have to figure out how to take those rough edges off the metal myself.
