61 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers overwhelmingly love this sweater for its super-soft, thick cashmere and cozy warmth, with many saying it feels high-end and classic. The honeycomb knit, rollneck, and overall styling get a lot of praise for looking polished and timeless. Fit-wise, it leans relaxed and roomy, so customers often sized down for a less oversized look or stayed true to size for layering. A few customers noted the price is a splurge, but most felt the quality made it worth it.

Love!!!
April 2, 2022I bought this sweater in December of 2020 in cream. Absolutely a dream sweater and fell in love with it. When I saw it in blue and on sale I had to Have it! I originally bought a small because I’m 5’11” 140lbs and like long sleeves but found the small to be a bit large so when I ordered the blue one I got the only size available xs and it fit perfectly!!!

Huge and boxy
February 9, 2022I really wanted to love this sweater, but the shape is boxy and the sizing is way off. I know it says relaxed fit, but I ordered a small and the chest measurement is 20" across. It just looks big and dumpy. It's unfortunate because the cashmere is very high-quality (much better than most of the recent J Crew cashmere sweaters) and the knit is substantial. I'm out of luck because it was a final purchase. Costly mistake on my part.

One was good. The other one was not.
February 7, 2022Purchased both colors. The blue one was excellent. But the white one had hundreds of pilled balls everywhere and a very strong odor of deodorant when arrival. Obviously, this sweater was worn with tag by somebody for some time, then got returned. I had no problem to receive a returned clothing but was disappointed with J.Crew's process. I knew pilling is common for cashmere and couldn't control that one customer returned a used sweater, but J.Crew should check whether the sweater was still in a good condition before re-packing and re-selling it. Fortunately, I was able to remove the pilled balls by spending half an hour with a cashmere comb and remove the strong odor by washing it with baby shampoo. I felt much better after I 'rescued' that sweater successfully. The sweaters are soft and thick. And I like the honeycomb pattern. TTS. If I received both sweaters in a good condition, I should give 5 stars. However, because of the unpleasant experience, I took off two stars.
