Rouje X J.Crew Rencard wrap dress

This dress was not at the top of my favs from the collab. However I like it in person much more than I thought. It fit me perfectly- length, waist, bust, ect…tts. My fav part of the dress was that it is a true wrap dress. Like it completely unfolds, and it buttons up in the inside and outside to come together. The inside button has a little elastic fastening on the button, so it has a teeny tiny give to it for comfort. The holes and buttons do seem delicate, and they are small so it does take a little patience to put it on, and nimble fingers. The material falls beautifully, though as others so clearly commented, the whole side of the dress slides open easily, mostly when you sit down. It’s ok if the dress fits you well so there is enough material…but you still need to place your hand just so and hold the fabric when sitting. I still love it though, it’s just not an everyday dress. Which I didn’t expect it to be anyways. I would recommend if you are in between sizes to go with the bigger size…still think it is tts for an a-line dress. I would not order a bigger size than normal.

I love this dress it is the perfect mix of fun, feminine and comfort I put a cami on for a work event (it was a little too low for my comfort) but also love without cami for more casual events or date night Love it . Also, wore red heals with it for pop of color and it was super cute

This dress has an effortless look and that is why I love it. And despite its flirty opening slit, it fully covers up my chest area. My top half in sizing is always xl, because of my larger bottom half I take an 18 mostly in J.Crew dresses. For the Rouje collaboration I found XXL in dresses TTS each time. For the fit I would have liked a deeper neckline and more skin shown, the arm holes fit well though it just had to do with my sizing. I was surprised to see it is a complete wrap dress with buttons only, it made me like the dress even more. The buttons are delicate though, thankfully an extra one is included. I think the sizing in this is tricky...because it is a true wrap dress. I think hourglass shaped bodies would find this a good fit. With the bust being larger and the waist smaller. Looser is better than tight for this dress in my opinion. I was super happy as a tall girl that the length was a true midi. Overall this dress surprised me in how much I liked it. It was not my top look from the Rouje release at first glance, but I really like it on and in person now I have received it.

Love this dress! Perfect fit! I’m 5’2” and 115lbs I bought a size 2 based on reviews saying the dress ran small. I normally wear a size 0. The 2 fit perfectly.
