Size Down and Get a Waist Belt
May 26, 2026Definitely size down. It looked almost like a clown suite when I first put it on, but after adding a big black waist belt, heeled ankle boots and a leather jacket, this dress looked PHENOMENAL at a conference that I was speaking at. Both professional and trendy. I ordered my usual size (s) but wish I would have gotten an XS.

Timeless dress

High Maintenance
April 17, 2026This is a bit of an odd one - I like the idea of the scarf and drapey silhouette but the dress is a bit of a flop. As one reviewer said, it can look frumpy (a blazer on top is a must), and I found that the tie belt constantly came untied because of the slippery fabric. The slits are also super high so if you're wearing a slip (also a must with this dress) you have to make sure it's not showing. It also wrinkles really easily. Overall, it's a weirdly high maintenance dress.
