Great for for pear shape
1 week agoThis might be the very first review that I’ve ever written about a pair of jeans. I want to say that right before I walked into the J.Crew store I had been to Nordstrom‘s.. I was ready to lay down some serious cash on a good pair of jeans because I’m so over not being able to find a pair of jeans for a pear shape. Have a small waist I’m a size 1012 but alas, there are just no good jeans out there that understand a woman’s pear shop body in MIDRISE. So many genes that promised to be mid rise are actually high-rise. Can I get a witness? If you’re over 40 wearing a pair of high-rise jeans just accentuates you’re less than perfectly flat belly. So anyway, I tried on about four $300 pair of jeans at Nordstrom and they all look terrible. On my way out of the mall I stopped by J.Crew and I think I’m in a hurry. I’m gonna try on two pair. The first pair saw when I walked in the door. I liked them. They were wide leg and I thought try it . Hope at the Greenhills Galleria in Nashville was a delight - I also tried on another pair of wide legs. They both looked 100 times better and were 1/2 the price of Nordstrom‘s and I was on my way to an event and I just wore the Trouser jeans out of the store. They were 168 bucks and they were 10 times the jeans that Nordstrom was trying to sell for 300-400 . So I believe that J.Crew is the reigning master over jeans that fit and flatter a woman’s body well done!
