Fit is good but was not lined
May 12, 2022The sizing on these 1993 bikini tops is great but JCrew needs to pay attention to their descriptions because this product description specifically says ‘Lined’…when it is not. I ordered it in black and there is no liner so nipples are very noticeable. It was final sale so I will keep but wanted to warn others before buying. Fit is good but lacks a liner.

Spot on throwback
February 15, 2022Perfect throwback of an older style top. Fits TTS. It is however unlined, I would’ve preferred a little more structure in the top.

Beautiful bra quality support, not padded
November 9, 2021I bought the 36B in Navy, but not to swim in. I bought it to replace my bras and bralettes during the summer heatwave while WFH. My usual bras felt too constricting, but my padded bralettes left me overheated. This was the best of both worlds. Underwire support but light as air. The unpadded swimsuit material was surprisingly breathable and did not hold my body heat. Plus the pretty straps look great under a tank top or spaghetti strap dress. Supportive and cool. I liked it so much I got the Dark Twig, since it's my shade of nude. Unfortunately, though, the dark brown shade is lined in pale blush, and it shows a little on the outside. Not sure why JCrew does that, it should just be lined in dark brown or even black. It's not flattering, and it's not fair to those of us who are not fair skinned, tbh. So I will need to dye it. I took advantage of a great sale price so still worth it, but just be warned. Not points deducted.
