Chunky heavyweight cashmere cable-knit turtleneck sweater

Great weight of cashmere. This sweater is thick and warm without being confining or restrictive. Love it.

Like other reviewer said, size up with this one. It is incredibly thick, and it's soft but like the other reviewer said it's not as soft as expected with other cashmere pieces. I recommend sizing up 1 from your normal size for this piece for a regular fit. Regular size might of been too tight on me, so I'm glad I sized up. It's not itchy so it can be worn without an under layer, but there is just an ever tiny slight itchiness (not bothersome at all by any means -- most notable on my neck once every 5 or so hours, but totally not bothersome. As someone who is super picky about not wanting to be scratchy at all, this is 100% tolerable almost unnoticeable). Literally an amazing sweater, you can certainly wear this out in cold weather. This is what I imagine every clothing piece should be when it says "heavyweight." Love it! So happy to have caught it on sale! So worth it :)

Let there be no mistake, the sweater is soft cashmere that can be worn comfortably against the skin. Because this sweater is made with really thick cashmere yarn, it’s not anything like your typical sweaters that retail for half the price. If you are anything like me you’ve wanted a sweater like this that’s made from yarn so thick it looks like your grandma knitted it for you. It’s also a lot like really chunky sweaters that retail for a lot more that are hand made in really cold places like Canada. The cable knit is incredible as it is the entire sweater in cable knit and not just in sections which makes it a very durable and was very complex to make. It reminds me of something my dad owned but he wasn’t as nice as this. So happy with this sweater! I sized up and glad I did but not sure if I actually had to. If I wanted it to be more fitted I could have gone with my typical size. 5’11” 185.

This sweater is one of my favorites after just one wear. It’s beautiful and the quality is outstanding. I agree with other reviews that it doesn’t feel like the super soft cashmere sweaters J.Crew is typically known for, but it’s is still incredibly soft in its own way, so I couldn’t deduct any stars from this review. Just wore it outside without a jacket in -5°F for 15-20 minutes and my midsection was warm and comfortable the entire time.

Beautiful sweater, but like the other reviewer said, it doesn't feel soft like cashmere. Gorgeous color, soft, and certainly heavyweight. I sized up for a little extra room, but this actually fits like my normal size.

This sweater is absolutely gorgeous and fits true to size. My only issue is that it just doesn't feel like cashmere. My gf and mom both thought it was cotton when I showed it to them. It's still a great sweater, just don't expect the traditional softness that comes with J Crew cashmere.
