Collection bow-front V-neck mini dress in stretch taffeta

I wanted to love this dress. But is not as it appears online. It’s a weird shiny mustard yellow. It feels like plastic. The only thing good about this dress is the pockets. But I have to keep it as it was a final sale.

I love this dress! I was worried about the reviews! J. Crew rarely disappoints IMO. The color of this dress is yummy and looks like a slice of sunshine. The fabric is high end and excellent quality I tend to carry my weight in the middle. This dress glides right over my stomach. The length of the dress helps me show off 2 of my best assets...my legs!

I’m not sure why this is a collection item. It’s unlined, see through and the material looks weird. This is perhaps the lowest quality and most ill fitting item (probably should have gone with my regular size) I’ve ever purchased from jcrew.

LOL! "Not as pictured" is the biggest understatement ever. It's shown as a beautiful sunny yellow. In fact, the material is shiny and iridescent, the most ugly mustard with strange other colors on the edges as it hits the light. It's pictured as structured but flowy. It's actually like wearing a very sturdy plastic birthday party tablecloth. Un-moving. I burst out laughing when I opened the package, and kept laughing while I put it on just because it'd be entertaining. No wonder this is final sale!!! LOLOL! It went right into the trash. In effect I've been lied to and stolen from having purchased this "thing."

First, the yellow is not nearly as bright as the picture makes it out to be. Much more muted. Second, the description says this is silky? More like plastic. I would not recommend this at all. I would love to return this but it was final sale and I'm stuck with something I will never wear.

This dress is flattering and adorable but huge. I have a small chest and straight frame and went down 2 full sizes. Color is gorgeous and material is really pretty.
