Solid construction. The knit around the shoulders is a little tight, but to be expected from this type of pattern. I anticipate that it will loosen over the years. Fast fashion this is not. I think this sweater will keep it’s appearance and even improve some over the years. I applaud jcrew for releasing this. Lastly, this is sturdy wool and not particularly soft. You will need a long sleeve shirt.

You will most definitely have to wear a long sleeve tshirt under this because it’s the most itchiest sweater ever. While it’s cute it’s very thick and itchy. I made the mistake of buying a medium and couldn’t get a small because this sold out the day it was released.

I typically couple this sweater with rugged Japanese denim pants, keeping me well insulted from the elements.
