Girls' pleated skirt

I purchased 6 of these when they were on sale and it's been the worse purchase ever. It says machine wash cold but it came out ruined with all the pleats gone and I washed it on the hand wash cycle in cold water not just regular cold wash. Waste of money so disappointed.

I washed two of these skirts before realizing that the tag says DRY CLEAN ONLY. All of the pleats are gone and we have two puffy skirts. It doesn't seem like they shrunk except maybe a touch in length but definitely no pleats. Such a bummer since I will never pay to dry clean my kid's school clothes.

We have loved previous versions of this skirt, but this year's gray is so light it won't work for our uniform standards. So bummed.
