Romantic dress
July 23, 2022I LOVE this dress…., so pretty and feminine. I was getting a little nervous and thought about buying a size 4, in the event the size 2 dress didn’t fit (based on the reviews that this dress ran small); but, by the time I went to order they had already sold out. Glad that I didn’t though, because it fits me like a glove. I have a petite frame (especially upper body) with a pear bottom… I haven’t figured out my actual JCrew size (I run from xs/s to 2/4 and 27/28p), but some items run really big on me and others quite small. Luckily, for me, this worked out perfectly and fit very nicely on my frame. If they do happen to come back in stock, I would consider purchasing a size 4, for my daughter (who is taller than I am) and to have on hand, should I want it to be more flowy and loose…

So pretty, so small
July 22, 2022My normal jcrew Size 8 is crazy tight. I can’t lift my arms and even the lower arms below my elbows are pulling. The back separates a ton because it’s so small. Mine must be defectively sized, this is no size 8, more like a 4. Also not happy that the bottom hem is crooked, on a collection piece no less! The print and fabric are lovely for what it’s worth.

June 7, 2022This dress is TTS. I should have ordered my usual size 4 instead of 6. The hooks on the back of the dress are made of elastic bands. I don’t understand why the dress is only lined for the top, not also for the bottom. It is kind of see through. Additionally, if the sleeves are short, the whole dress would look much better on me.

Stunner of a dress!
March 27, 2022This dress is gorgeous! Slinky beautiful fabric that hangs perfectly over the body. I sized up from my regular 2 to a 4 and it fits perfect. (Runs slightly small) if I wanted it to fit like the model I would size up 2 sizes but I will keep the 4. Not sure where I can wear it but I can't wait! Definitely a keeper.
