We’re proud to support responsible cashmere production through our partnership with the Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF), an independent standard that aims to improve the welfare of cashmere goats and the lives of herders and farming communities, as well as protect the environment in which they live.

Why does cashmere pill?
Pilling is a natural effect of cashmere wear, and we use longer, finer fibers in our styles to keep pilling at a minimum. To help further discourage pilling and friction, you should avoid sleeping or being active in your cashmere. Plus, you can learn how to easily de-pill your styles in our Cashmere Care Guide!

How can I keep my cashmere looking like new?
We’re so glad you asked! Our design team created a Cashmere Care Guide sharing all their expert tips, tricks and techniques to make your sweaters last for decades. From handwashing to storage, you can find our four-step process here.

How often do you recommend washing cashmere?
You don’t need to clean your cashmere every time you wear it. We recommend handwashing after about three wears, but it’s really up to you. For more information, please check out our Cashmere Care Guide.

Why is cashmere typically so expensive?
We only source the best Grade A–quality cashmere for our styles and work with small Good Cashmere Standard®-certified farms to ensure an ethical supply chain. The amount of cashmere used to create each item also has an impact on the price, which is why our brushed and heavy-weight cashmere styles tend to cost more.

Brushed cashmere is a signature, innovative texture that our team spent months developing. It’s crafted with longer fibers that are specially washed for an extra-fuzzy finish that’s unlike anything you’ve felt (or seen) before.
