Bunger Surf Shop was founded in 1962 by Long Island's Charlie Bunger Sr., who was inspired to try shaping surfboards in his basement after watching surfers at Gilgo Beach. Today, it's a thriving family business with Charlie Sr.'s son Tommy shaping all of the boards while Charlie Jr. and sister, Theresa, run the shop. (Their mother, who's now 82, does much of the paperwork.) The Bungers are proud to serve the surfing community near and far, maintaining their legacy of quality craftsmanship. This graphic T-shirt is everything you love about vintage finds, with none of the downsides. It's perfectly faded with a comfortable, well-worn feel, thanks to our specialized wash process and subtly textured 100 percent cotton (30 percent of which is recycled). The fit is slightly more relaxed than our Broken-in tee, with an additional 1" in the chest and 3/4" in length, which hews closely to coveted old-school styles.
