Broken-in Straight chino pant
The Broken-in Straight chino is a fresh take on our '90s catalog classic, built in midweight 8.5-ounce 100 percent cotton twill that has a soft, lived-in feel right from the first wear, thanks to a special wash process. They're a little lighter than our Classic chino but a bit heavier than our stretch chinos. The fit lands in the sweet spot between 770 Straight and the roomier Classic, with a longer rise and a 16" leg opening. A mainstay in any rotation, they're made to look as good years from now as they do today.

Classics done right !
1 hour agoWhen J Crew sticks to the classics, they get it right. Classic fit, all cotton (no stretch thankfully) and mid weight. Nice range of colors. I bought 3. They run a little large. I usually wear a 34 waist but 33 in these were better.

Great pants!
20 hours agoA big improvement over the J Crew trousers of ten years ago, which suffered from the unfortunate enthusiasm of the designers for the 300-hour distressing process. While the old ones felt floppy and limpid, these are not only more stiff, but seem to be made of a thicker twill as well. Only negative is a bit too long of an inseam, and the khaki shade appears much lighter online, which I prefer. Would buy again. Now if only they would tone down the distressing on their other products…I would be a much more frequent customer. No one likes buying something that feels like it’s been worn by someone else for ten years.

Solid staple
1 day agoBought these for my 18 year old son, and he loves them. He has an athletic build and this fit him like a classic chino, which is what he wanted. Great quality and great fit.

Runs slightly larger, great pant
2 days agoGreat casual pant for decent price. I normally find that “straight leg” pants are tapered more than I’d like, these however are not. I typically wear a 32x32, I had to size down to a 31x32.

Good pants
2 days agoWas looking for a versatile pair of pants. JCrew is generally where I buy pants now. These are very good, though I think the athletic or relaxed fit in JCrew works better for me in general. I expect them to last at least 3-5 years, with very frequent use.
